I do have an oily skin, and it sucks big time. I haven't had a chance to find the right / perfect foundation that will prevent my face from getting too shiny, especially my T zone.

I have tried a lot of foundation - from the cheapest to the expensive brands and none of them works the same way that V&M does.

What I did was tested this foundation, while I was with my cousins for 3 days, here's the result --

Day 1 - On a sunny afternoon, I used this (no primer, no powder on top), just the Silk Serum Foundation in Vanilla. We went to the airport to pick up our Uncle, went to their home and just stayed in a non-airconditioned living room, after about 7hours, I asked my cousin if my face is oily, she said "no" and asked "what are you foundation are you using?", of course, my response was a proud "V&M Naturals" and they complimented the colour, asked where I got it, etc.

Day 2 - I used a different foundation (my used-to-be-favorite-foundation -- a waterproof liquid foundation & let's not name the brand, but it costs more than twice of this), again I was with my cousins, we went to our Aunt's place this time, from around 10 am until 5 pm, again it was 7 hours before I ask the same question if my face is oily. The response I got was "oo, super! iba yung gamit mong foundation ngayon?". My answer was "yes, iba.. hindi sya yung gamit ko kahapon". They said not to use that product anymore and just stick with the V&M.

Day 3 - As early as 1pm I was ready to go grocery shopping with my cousins & other family members. We left the house at 2 pm, went to Landmark Makati, Glorietta 1, 2, 3, 4, had a quick merienda, and went to Okada, had to walk and walk again (oh, I really hate walking!). It was past 8 pm when we opted to have dinner after we ordered our food, it's time to check on my oily face again. Same cousin, different location, same time difference (7 hours) and I got the same response from Day 1 -- "no, hindi oily yung face mo, yung V&M ba yung gamit mo today?", and indeed it was.

There you go, I have proven and tested that the V&M Naturals Silk Serum Foundation really works on my super oily face and I'm planning to stick with it!

Lately ive been obsessing with skin care products since im already on my 30ish.. not getting any younger and so age spots are already starting to appear. I know wearing make up everyday isn’t good but i just kept doing so. thankful for this serum foundation i wont feel giulty wearing make up anymore. Ive been using it for a month now, and my husband noticed i have glowing healthy skin even after rinsing off my make up at night. And true to its claim, it does feel like your second skin. 😀

I got the lightest shade which is vanilla. Applied the foundation using my fingers after putting on the pure glow serum primer. The formula is light and not sticky at all. It was able to hide my fine lines and pores without feeling fully made up. Their silk serum foundation is great for everyday use and with added skin care benefits, I would definitely recommend this for those in the lookout for local brands who truly deliver.
